Baseline Study to Establish the Knowledge, Attitude and Practice of Family Planning Beneficiaries in BlueStar Franchise Areas

On behalf of Population Services Pilipinas Incorporated (PSPI), the Center conducted a baseline study regarding the Knowledge, Attitude and Practice on Family Planning on women of reproductive age in selected local governments. The survey component was started on December of 2008. On the status of the project, the center is currently working on the analysis of the results of the survey.

The survey seeks to conduct a baseline study to establish the current state/level of knowledge, attitude on and practice of family planning products and services of targeted beneficiaries of BlueStar’s family planning and products. The results of the baseline study will help the different Bluestar franchises define their business operations plan, specifically in setting their annual targets, and in undertaking corresponding strategies in order to maximize the reach of their family planning products and services.
