Development Legislation Enhancement Course

DLEC is a regular training program of the Center aimed at enhancing the legislative capability and effectiveness of the participants – both in the procedural aspect and in the participatory dimension of legislation in local governments. Categorized as a development and enhancement course, it focuses on helping local legislators get a more critical view of their functions and widen their perspectives by taking a look at pressing issues and challenges in the field. With 50 batches of DLEC conducted and more than 2,000 participants who completed it, the program looks forward to have more legislators trained on various aspects of local governance.
