Our Partners and Friends

CLRG has had and continues to have long-term partnerships with various government, non-government and international entities. Partnership programs are undertaken for joint implementation of projects, academic exchange programs, capacity building
programs, research on local governance and innovation systems, among others. We are constantly expanding our academic and partnership network to generate convergence for good governance and local development.

Vice Mayors' League of the Philippines 
CLRG and the VMLP's Academy for Presiding Officers (APO) hold two-day "Know-and-Inform Sessions" quarterly.
National Movement of Young Legislators
The Legislative Skills Enhancement Training for Local Legislators (SETLLE) is a joint program for NMYL members.
Quezon City Government
Since 2006, CLRG has been assisting the QC government in capacity building for its barangay officials.

CLRG extends research services for project process and best practice documentation for DA-BAR's Community-Based Participatory Action Research projects.
Philippine Council for Agriculture and Fisheries-Department of Agriculture
CLRG developed learning materials on policy-making and delivered seminars for agriculture and fisheries councils nationwide.
Department of the Interior and Local Government
From the first generation LGPMS to the Citizen Satisfaction Index System (CSIS), CLRG has helped in developing governance metrics for DILG.

Local Governance Initiative & Network (LOGIN) Asia
CLRG is member of this Asia-wide multi-stakeholder network of government and non-government organizations working in the local governance sector which provides a platform for sharing and learning Asian "ways-of-doing-things" in local governance.
GIZ Protected Area Management Enhancement (PAME)
CLRG developed and administered a baseline and end-project client satisfaction survey on the services of the DENR Biodiversity Management Bureau which has a specific dimension on co-management of protected areas with local governments

Institute of Federalism FR Switzerland
From 2007 to 2009 CLRG and IF of the University of Fribourg undertook an exchange program for key decision makers, researchers, and students. Public dialogues on federalism were also held in the Philippines.
