Last June 2023, the UP Center for Local and Regional Governance (CLRG) marked its 58th founding anniversary with the theme "UGNAYAN: 58 Years of Facilitating Convergence between Citizens and Local Governments." As one of the highlights of our anniversary observance, we introduced the UGNAYAN Lecture Series wherein we will host webinars looking into the current state of decentralization in the country as well as the potential amendments to the Local Government Code (LGC) and other pertinent laws. The discussions will predominantly revolve around fortifying the linkages between the public and our Local Government Units (LGUs).
