Data AtlasPhilippines![]() How dependent on the Internal Revenue Allotment is your local government?
In 2011, only the provinces of Ilocos Sur, Bataan and Capiz have registered an IRA dependency rate that is less than 50%. Many provinces in Luzon have a dependency rate between 51 and 75%. By 2018, the BLGF still registered three provinces with below 50% IRA dependency rate. These are Ilocos Sur, La Union and Abra, while Ilocos Norte, Bataan are catching up with below 60% rates. IRA dependency is computed by dividing the current year's IRA with the LGU's annual regular income (ARI).
