Project Development and Management

As LGUs craft their plans, programs, projects and activities, the need to consider technical competency and the right expectations in implementing projects is a plus for effective management. We in CLRG believe in the need to capacitate local officials, both elective and non-elective to possess the ability to manage the different kinds of projects of the LGU, as well as the ability to determine their feasibility before implementation.

These courses therefore help to orient and reorient its participants on the principles of project management, as well as the project cycle. Skill wise, we share knowledge and techniques in crafting project proposals that are both innovative and acceptable by Philippine government standards. We also emphasize the need for LGU personnel to learn how to harmonize the different aspects of project implementation such as the financial, technical, economic, administrative, etc. These are made available especially for LGU staff with plantilla positions as they have duties that go beyond boundaries of elective officials’ terms.
