Remigio D. Ocenar

Profile:

Remigio D. Ocenar is the Director of the Center for Local and Regional Governance (CLRG) since 2010. He is also an Associate Professor at the U.P. National College of Public Administration and Governance (UP-NCPAG) teaching subjects on local governance, metropolitan governance, and urban and regional planning.  He spent over 40 years of his career at the Center before being appointed to the NCPAG faculty.

He has extensive experience in capacity building having been part of the core prime movers of the Local Administration and Development Program (LADP).  Dir. Ocenar’s classes at NCPAG hold volunteer services (i.e. facilitating agenda setting, policy studies, planning for barangays etc.) for local governments that are willing to engage them.

Dir. Ocenar has a PhD and MA in Urban and Regional Planning and a Diploma in Public Administration and A BA in Political Science from the University of the Philippines.
