Sensitization of Agriculture and Fisheries Information for Community Research, Development and Management

One of the components of the said project is the conduct of nationwide readership survey of the DA-BAR publications – BAR Chronicle and Research and Development Digest. On the status of the project, the center has already finished its part on the survey component of the project. The next step was to process the data / information gathered from all over the country.

The survey aimed to achieve four objectives: (1) to determine the extent of conformity of DA-BAR publications and website with the readers’ needs; (2) identify the strengths and inadequacies of BAR publication materials and website content and format; (3) determine the topics that capture the interest of all readers and website users, and need more focus in the future; and (4) identify areas for enhancing the publications and website of the DA-BAR.
