Xavier Venn Asuncion

Mainstreaming Disaster Risk Reduction - Climate Change Adaptation (DRR-CCA); Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and e-Governance; Urban Planning and Management; Local Governance Expertise: Data Processing/Analysis, Qualitative Policy Research Short Bio: Xavier obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration from the National College of Public Administration and Governance, University of the Philippines (UP-NCPAG). He also has a Master's degree in Urban Management and Development, under the Urban Environment, Sustainability and Climate Change specialization, from the Institute for Housing and Urban Development Studies, Erasmus University Rotterdam (IHS-EUR). He has worked on research projects related to Disaster Risk Reduction-Climate Change Adaptation (DRR-CCA) such as climate finance, risk insurance and social media use for disaster risk reduction. Currently, he is a University Researcher at the Center for Local and Regional Governance (CLRG-NCPAG) and a Master's student at the School for Urban and Regional Planning, University of the Philippines (UP-SURP).
