Evaluation of BlueStar Pilipinas Operations

Commissioned by the Population Services Pilipinas Incorporated (PSPI), the CLRG conducted an evaluation of the operations of its family-planning clinics called BlueStar Pilipinas to determine the possibilities of scaling up and supporting sustainability.

The results was aimed to help BlueStar franchises in revisiting their business operations plan, setting their annual targets, and undertake corresponding strategies in order to maximize the reach of their family planning products and services. Moreover, the study may also assist BlueStar in identifying the challenges and constraints it might face if it decides to scale up its operations.

The study covered BlueStar operations in Quezon City, Caloocan City, Cagayan de Oro City, Davao City, Pangasinan, Bulacan, Rizal, Laguna, Cavite, Davao del Norte, and Davao del Sur.

Another research on family-planning was a baseline study conducted by the CLRG for the PSPI.
