Behind this list is the election rule which mandates the filing of statement of contributions and expenses (SOCE) after the elections. Non-compliance with this rule for two (or more) times will send one to such list.
As part of its mandate to uphold transparency and accountability in local governance, the Center for Local and Regional Governance (CLRG) is organizing “PiPul” a one-day seminar on “Local Campaign Finance and Disclosure.” The seminar will have local candidates and their staff as participants. It is an effort to level up the understanding of the participants in terms of the rules and regulations in local campaign finance and disclosure and, consequently, ensure their compliance with these rules. In addition, it also aims to better familiarize them with election-related issues. The seminar is designed to have two (2) modules which are briefly described as follows: MODULE 1 Understanding the Basics: Overview of the Omnibus Rules on Campaign Finance In Focus: Campaign Finance and Disclosure MODULE 2 Navigating the 2016 Automated Elections Running an Affordable Campaign ![]()
