Prejean A. Prieto

Youth engagement; human resource management; rebranding local government; industrial relations Expertise: Conference management; Data processing; training and development; website management Short Bio: Prejean worked at the Eastern Regional Organization for Public Administration (EROPA) for almost five years (2007-2012) where he was involved in conference management, training, publications, and as focal person for the UN Public Administration Network. His recent work at the CLRG has improved his skills in the above areas. Currently, he teaches Human Resource Management in the Public Sector at the UP NCPAG. He earned two degrees from the University of the Philippines—his BA Public Administration the National College of Public Administration and Governance (NCPAG) and Diploma in Industrial Relations from the School of Labor and Industrial Relations (SOLAIR). In 2019, he completed his Master in Public Policy from the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS) in Tokyo, Japan under the Japanese Government's Young Leaders Program (YLP), garnering the Director's Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement. Recent Written Works: "Big Experiences for Little Changemakers: PAGASA sa Makati in Maximo Estrella Senior High School" (2020). This research looked at drug prevention among the youth in Makati City through arts. "Youth Engagement through Formal Decision-making: Insights from Youth Councils in the Philippines."
