QC Ladies' Foundation learns how to better complement Quezon City government projects

Picture
CLRG conducted a one-day seminar-workshop on "Engaging the Community Better" for the board and district officers of the Quezon City Ladies' Foundation, Inc. on 17 January 2014 at the Discovery Suites, Ortigas Center. The seminar topics included "The Quezon City Governance Agenda", "Community Development" and "Project Development and Management."

At the workshop, the officers identified the main thrusts of the foundation for this new term which include institution building, expansion of membership, supporting historical and cultural tourism, helping build linear parks along the city's waterways, and sustaining existing projects.

QCLFI is a non-profit organization made up of female elected officials and the wives and other female relatives of male elected officials of Quezon City. It is currently headed by Vice Mayor Joy Belmonte as Chair and Ms. Harlene Bautista-Tejedor as President.
